Savage ranchland security

Its a little early for me to be knocking fur down this time of the year but when this brazen big male walked through my yard this morning as my lab was going crazy I figured it was time to let the coyote population what the rules of the ranch are. I shot him just over 100yds out in my front yard from the front deck. The 32grvmax out of the .204 worked excellent, bang flop. He was in real nice shape so I skinned him out and will get him tanned.

The 32gr Hndy vmax load is powered by 27gr of H322 with federal SRM primer cased in a rem. brass. Thats kinda my ground squirrel load, but its what I've been shootin at the time so I ran with it. Have heard a lot of negativity on the lighter 204 bullets for coyotes so I've always loaded 40gr for them come winter here in alberta. Was mildly surprised at the bang/flop performance and the non-existant fur damage that the 32 gr produced. If I didn't have coyotes hanging up at 300yds+ I would probably switch.
