Hubby's first bow kill!

Just thought I'd brag on my hubby, he's been bowhunting since last year. Didn't get anything last year, but this year he can't say that! He's shooting a Fred Bear Element, might have to surprise him for Christmas with something a little more permanent since he's definitely hooked now. This was an 18 yard shot. Wish we'd have gotten some pictures of him in the field, but it was after dark by the time we found him. He's a 5x7 muley, if you count brow tines. At the taxidermist now, I told the hubby he better get this one mounted! I'm just as proud as if I'd have shot the buck myself

We got 14" reported out at the airport, there was about a foot in our yard. Powdery light stuff, made shoveling easy! Made for a great opening weekend for ducks, as well as makes the coyotes move a lot more. I wish it'd stick around more instead of melting this week!
