What kind of scope?

hey i just bought a new h&r handi rifle .223 cal. i do alot of pig hunting and would like to try and start doing some varmint hunting and was wondering if there is a decent scope out there to fit my budget of $150 that would good for both. any input would be great thanks.
 
Do you reload. I had one of those rifles. And the throat was LOOOONNNNNGGGGG. If you have an accuracy problem-check the throat. I never could get the one I had to shoot. Tom.
 
You might look into a Bushnell Trophy. Like Mr. Ruger said, Swift would be another good choice in that price range.

You might also talk to the dealer that you bought the rifle from and see if he would get you a scope for cost, since you bought the rifle from him. I've done this for customers before, so it might be worth a shot. If he would, I look into a Nikon Buckmaster or Bushnell 3200. Both would be close to your price at cost.
