AR 223 Bore Guide - Newbie Question

Do you experienced AR owners use a bore guide for cleaning on your rigs and if you do, do you have any brand recommendations?

You should always use a bore guide. Wether you are cleaning an AR or a bolt gun.

Yeah, I use this chamber guide whenever I'm running a rod.

I use one like this, except mine's white Delrin.

I'm pretty sure mine is made by Sinclair.

I also use cleaning products from Sinclair International. Their products are online and are top notch. I have used them for years and highly recommend them.

Not to steal the post, but should you use a bore guide when using a tipton carbon fiber cleaning rod?

Definitely YES!
If anything that carbon is more abrasive than a steel rod.

Never thought the Tipton rod would be more abrasive, thought that was their selling point, being less abrasive?
