Buffer Spring ???

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I have a Enidine buffer in my 16" midlength. I dont know if I would pay full price for one (I didnt) but it did make some noticable difference in recoil. The difference isnt huge, but it does help you stay on target.

I tried the Oly Arms pnueumatic buffer for a while. It worked perfect when firing, but if I locked the bolt back and released it, it wouldn't return to battery consistently.
It obviously had a slow leak through the seals.
Oly will replace it for free if I send it in, so I'm not out anything, but still.

If it wasn't for the leak, I would still be running it. There was no spring noise and the rifle seemed to have less recoil than the stock spring/buffer (a lot less mass moving).
They don't offer it in carbine length, though.
