Johnny Stewart parts/repair ?

Hey guys I have a MS-512 that had intermittant volume control static, sometimes it would not make any sound, but if I would wiggle the volume knob it would either make static or work properly for a while...then it just quit making sound period...I really think if I could replace the volume control thingy that I would be in the berries.................Any suggestions on where to get the parts, or ideas on what to do ?

Ho boy...
I just dug out the caller and charged the battery(over night) and tried it (it's been put away for about a year or more)........

I think the desciption of the problem in the above post was correct.....but just now it played...but at a VERY low volume. The volume knob seems to function...turned all the way down there is no sound, but turned up it does produce the right sound, but you can hold it right up to your ear at full blast....that's not what I remember it doing, but that's what it does.

I'm even more unsure what to do now.
