Your thoughts on krowtann?

I have used the stuff on 3 hydes now and i like it a lot. Just make sure you follow the instructions as they read. Just in case you had the same questions that i had in your head you can use any measurement you want for any size fur. You can use the measurements for the elk cape and use that for a coyote. The most important thing to follow is the neutralizing process. I also like to make sure i wash the hyde in dawn dish soap and borax to get all the blood and stuff off before i put it in the tan. Hope that helped.

Thanks chappy! Do you oil them after the tanning process? It says you dont have to but I heard one guy say he oils them just to make them softer.

I've used it for taxidermy with good results so far. I've done mule deer, whitetails, and bear with no spoilage. Like Chappy said, follow the neutralization process exactly. Too much will spoil the tan.
I've never done a soft tan with it so I can't answer the oiling question.
