Palin launches political action committee!!!!!!!

Because you don't know what you are, I'll clear things up for you, your a socialist,
Palin represents the "Family From [beeep]" to the left. ( Ozzie and Harriet )Married one time, raising a family with the father in the house hold, attending church.
It doesn't get much uglier than that to the left. Going to church puts her over the top.

Uh, anyone remember Bill Clinton's brother Roger? How about Billy Carter? If you are going to argue family members conduct makes you fit or unfit for the office of President then you need to remember the past.

Well, lets look a little closer at the comparison shall we?
Sure Roger is Bill Clinton's brother and Billy is Jimmy Carter's brother ..... but both Roger and Billy were adults when they behaved badly! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif They were grown men and neither President was / is responsible for their conduct and quite frankly there was probably nothing either President could do to try and curb their behaviour that they didn't do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

On the other hand, Palin's daughter is a minor and she was / is legally responsible for her bevaviour. Big difference IMO! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'm not questioning the conduct of Palin's daughter .... she is a child and is bound to make mistakes as many young people do! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif What I am questioning is her mother's handling of the situation!!! Yes, the same mother that wants to be POTUS! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

All of this talk about Sara's daughter reminds me of Bar-Ho's mama.

You're really insulting little Bristol Palin there Stealth, lol!

Stanley Ann Dunham was a Communist went out of her way to intentionally have kids with minority men--one of who was already married and committed bigamy to marry her (Barack, Sr).

Bristol is a nice little kid who messed up and is trying to do the right thing under intense INTERNATIONAL scrutiny. I hate to speak ill of the dead, but I will: Momma Obama was nutjob with, what I consider, lifelong poor values.

Whereas Sarah Palin IS success, Momma Obama represents lifelong failure at pretty much every level.

BTW, don't let all this talk of the late grandparents (her parents) 'Christian, Kansas values' fool you. This image is part of Obama's lie package about his kin and past. These people were Liberal Unitarians (I know for a FACT that they attended East Shore Unitarian Church, in Bellevue, WA--a hub of Leftist activity). His mama was right there in the mix, too.

Obama has lied in a 2006 speech: "My mother, whose parents were non-practicing Baptists and Methodists, was probably one of the most spiritual people and kindest people I've ever known, but grew up with a healthy skepticism of organized religion herself. As a consequence, so did I."

Lie! The grandparents belonged to radical Unitarian Universalist churches in both Bellevue and, later, in Hawaii.

Why didn't he just ADMIT that and then say he rejected their beliefs? Nobody reasonable would hold that against him--you can't control what your parents and grandparents did when you were a child. No, he lied about it because that radicalism and hatred of traditional America is ENGRAINED in him--has been since day 1.

What, pray tell, SHOULD Sarah and Todd have done?

BTW, Bristol IS working on her diploma, she just left regular school because she had a BABY, duh. Calling her a "dropout" is inaccurate and misleading. Plus, it is my understanding that the boy, Levi Johnston, is headed back and while he was out he was employed the whole time up on the North Slope.

Can you cut these kids some slack, ECH? BTW, Levi has nothing to do with his mom, who clearly has a prescription drug addiction. His folks split, aren't even divorced yet, and his dad, Keith Johnston, is gainfully employed and the boy is tied to HIM, NOT the mom. Levi nor ANY of their family even showed up at court with her when she was arraigned on those charges the other day.

How on EARTH were Sarah and Todd supposed to know what then appeared to be a normal, married family had a mom with a prescription problem? C'mon!

Geeze, ECH, I can sure tell you neither I nor my kin could ever pass your standards, whew! I had an aunt who was a knee-walking drunk and a niece who had a child before marrying! (She and the dad ARE now married, though, thank God for the baby...) I guess I'm a horrible dad, too. I have not been through the medicine cabinets of ANY of the parents of the kids who my sons play with... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If you are running parenting seminars I guess I should sign up cause I sure don't pass muster!

It amazes me the utter hate and disdain for someone like Sarah Palin from the left. She stands for all that is right and what America was once known for. She has moral convictions, is not blown with the winds of change. She believes in how precious human life truly is. She's a beacon of hope to a time when America was that city on a hill, where people came here to work hard to achieve the "American Dream."

Don't knock her. She's got the left scared. Just look at how the liberal hippy Obamalamadingdong media treated her during the campaign. They ain't seen nothing yet. I hope we can get this great ship righted in 2010. It can't get here soon enough, and 2012 seems so far away right now.

Am I too hard on her? Well, again, maybe I'm being too hard /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif.... then again, in small towns everyone knows their neighbor's business. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I quess I just don't see her as a viable breakthrough canidate for the GOP like many here do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It would be nice if her solicitation for financial support contained more information on her positions on the issues that a POTUS has to deal with. It would be a lot easier then to determine whether she was deserving of support or not! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

What I am questioning is her mother's handling of the situation!!! Yes, the same mother that wants to be POTUS!

I'm not sure what you don't like about the Palin's handling of the situation. Would you have preferred abortion so both Levi and Bristol could have stayed in school? Would you have preferred them to throw Bristol out in the cold and disown her?

Please clarify your positiion here oh great family leader.

No! Never abortion.

Would I throw Bristol (or any family member out in the cold and disown them .... no never.

I don't think I would be encouraging or even allow them to get married at such a young age. If they stayed together and acted responsibly until they were 21 or so, then maybe.

Dropping out of high school -- no.

"Great family leader" .... never claimed to be one, but I do think things could have probably been handled better from the outset.

Please enlighten us, the ranks of the unwashed, on how you would have handled this situation better from the outset.

Before you do, can you tell us how many children you have, and what you do to "control them"?

Lastly, the age of consent for marriage is 18 here in the good 'ol US of A, not 21.

O.K., I'm ready now....Enlighten us so that we may proceed with a better understanding of how "You would would have done things better"....

Pretty much been all through this in my previous posts ....so why don't some of you Palin worshipers / experts enlighten me as to the following:

What is Palin's position on birth control? Was she aware that her underaged daughter was having sex and did she allow her to so so? Did she give her the talk and provide her with birth control and ensure that they knew how to use it?

As far as the age of consent for marriage being 18 in the good o'l US of A ... I don't doubt that it is, but don't you think it's kind of young? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif You can't even drink in many places at that age ... but you can make a life long committment before God and all that that entails? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
