Was Bush that bad?

Back to the ORIGINAL topic: I was glad to see Bush send troops in there and whip some terrorist [beeep]' instead of having Clinton in there getting oral sex and then denying it. Smoke screen is a smoke screen, no matter what kind. I would have respected Clinton more if he would of had the nuts to say he actually did it. We've all seen Hillary, I really don't blame the guy. That might be the ONLY time she shut up, key words might, lord knows she did ALOT of talking about Obama on the trail, now she's in bed with him.

So in closing I didn't think Bush was that bad. We will see what we have to say in four more years.

hey guys I love to see the arguing over this politcal stuff. It shows that people still care about there country. But when our poltians {no matter what party, the people voted them in} passed the patriot act all you rights weht out the window. look who voted on it and why, you might learn something about our elected officials. 90% of them are wormy little creatures.

This is why I laughed at slick willy so much. He could've said it isn't any of your blank business but he crossed his eyes and lied about it.

Bush had major faults like illegal immagration during war time but he went after them in a big way.

Cut the 2 border agents loose that shot a dope head in the butt. Mr. Bush was a man of his word, wether you liked it or not.
 
cmiddleton, you guys on the non naturalized citizen theroy need to give it a rest. The qualifications to be President of the United States of American only require one parent to have been born in the US. His mom was, regardless of the country his dad was a citizen too doensn't matter.

To be President, not only must you be a citizen, but you must also be natural-born. Aside from participation in government, citizenship is an honor bestowed upon people by the citizenry of the United States when a non-citizen passes the required tests and submits to an oath.

US Constitution, Article III, Sec. 1., Clause 5.:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

If Obama was in fact born in Kenya he is not eligible, legally, to be POTUS. Even though his mother was from Kansas. Why? Because Obama, Sr. was a Kenyan and that would make little Barry a dual citizen and dual citizens are INELIGIBLE to be POTUS.

As if that is not bad enough, a few short years later his Communist mother relocated to Indonesia, married and Indonesian national, thus naturalizing both herself and little Barry as Indonesians. (On school records of the time his mother declared his nationality as Indonesian AND he was adopted by the Indonesian step-father).

I think it is highly likely that he is legally unqualified on both counts to be the POTUS, but, nothing will come of it.

He's the Messiah and laws are for us little people to obey.

Laws, tradition and fair play are mere antiquated relics that only interest stodgy old white males like me...

Here's a bit more info on the subject of b-ho's citizenship. It's worth noting that transferring legal citizenship did have some restrictions at the time. MI VHNTR

On this point Berg is correct. If Obama was born in Kenya he doesn’t qualify. This is how the law was at the time of Obama’s birth. The law has been changed since then, under the current law the mother has to be 16 but this only applies to persons born after 1986. http://travel.state.gov/law/info/info_609.html

Before an oath of renunciation will be administered under Section 349(a)(5) of the INA, a person under the age of eighteen must convince a U.S. diplomatic or consular officer that he/she fully understands the nature and consequences of the oath of renunciation, is not subject to duress or undue influence, and is voluntarily seeking to renounce his/her U.S. citizenship."
