MOV to AVI or MPEG converter.

Ok , this doesn't have anything to do with callers, but this seems to be where the computer gooroo's hang out. My digital cammera takes movies also. But when you load them from the cammera to the computer, it saves them a MOV files and can only be viewed by using the Kodak software that came with the cammera. I would like to convert these to MPEG or AVI files so they can be viewed on Windows media player or other media players and so that i can share them with others. As it is now, i am the only one that can view these because i have the software. Anyone tackle this problem?

Quicktime can affiliate .mov files also. That's what most people view them with.

The only way I know of is to get some encoder software.
