I am not as old as some of the members on this board nor do I have some of the wisdom yet that I've seen from posts on here. I may not know everything and I won't tell you that I do. When I am wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. I don't lie, I learn from my mistakes, I try to be a good husband, father, son, friend and I take my LEO job seriously. But I am tired!

I am tired of the 10 commandments being removed.
I am tired of people saying GOD shouldn't be on our money, our court houses, government buildings, etc.
I am tired of people wanting something for nothing.
I am tired of people changing the wording of laws to meet their needs.
I am tired of the bs that our public schools allow to happen.
I am tired of gay pride, gay marriages, and their neverending fight to "legally" be a family.
I am tired of people abusing the system. Welfare, Medical, Disablility, and many member's of our GOVT. help promote it.
I am tired of people not supporting our military.
I am tired of the media and the 99% of BS they report on.
I am tired of the local newspapers doing the same thing.
I am tired of people who "go green" and global warming smoke and mirrors.
I am tired of PETA, Anti-Hunters, Anit-Gun and Anti-(insert your choice here)
I am tired of limp wristed, pansy politicians who have no spine and forget what AMERICA was founded on.
I am tired of criminals with more rights than law abiding citizens.
I am tired of immigration laws or lack of.
I am tired of illegal aliens.
I am tired of the billions of dollars in wasted govt. programs, surveys. etc etc etc
I am tired of people not standing up to all the bs.
I am tired of people who have become sheep and just follow the leader.
I am tired of people saying "IT CAN'T/WON'T" happen here. (insert topic, guns etc)
I am tired of reality tv, bad commercials, and commericial america.
I am tired out outsourcing jobs to other countries that our own men and women need.
I am tired of the Fed. Govt. thinking they know whats best on any number of topics! How bout "endangered species."
I am tired of people giving in to people like PETA and any of the other mumb-jumbo big money back stabbers.
I am tired of liars.
I am tired of unfair "racial" lines, in laws, in GOVT. and in business.
I am tired of being tired of a hundred more things easy.

Simply I say this: For me and my house we will serve the Lord. I will own guns, teach my kids how to survive, hunting, camping, fishing, gardening. I will teach them to shoot multiple types of firearms, teach them guide them and pray each day that they too are not blinded by smoke and mirrors. I also say that soon all the liberals, democrats and Obama supporters will get what they asked for and when they stand tall and look at each other with egg on their face. It will be a bunch of sheep dogs like me that they will turn to in their time of need.

Sorry for the rant.....America is in a bad place and I don't know what it's going to take for people to see that and stand up and do what's right. I can only pray.

If you ask me, I think the minority has been given a bull horn by the media wich in turn leads alot of people to think they are the majority! So dont be tired, keep up the good fight! The day will come when we ALL will stand up and say enough is enough!

I'm tired of credit card companies and banking in general they are making it hard to do business
I'm soo tired I'm pulling out of the US economy tell we get a new government.
i will down size my company tell it keeps just a few loyal hands busy.
i will keep all my money in my gun safe if the banks go broke so be it.
i will pull my 401's and Ira's and put them in my safe.
just because they are going broke they are not bailing them self out at my expense.
I'll pay the penalties and taxes on the 401's but that will be the only support our government will get tell they turn this chit around.
when i retire they will not know what my net worth is to tax it when i die.
death taxes are nothing more than thievery.
bailing out everyone will cause a new depression I'm pi ssed and have had enough.
my faith in the U.S.A. hasn't been this low for many years, carters days.
I'm getting out before it go's south from here.
rigs are stacking coal mines are not expanding everything is on hold to see where this joker is headed.
obama wants war on business here it comes. our work is slowing due to things he plans on doing.
we need oil,gas,and coal he is a idiot to talk the way he is. he turned Wyoming's boom in one speech
wind power will never replace normal power plants regardless how much he smokes his pipe.
yes they can ease the demand but we still need to feed the plants already running.
 
Thanks for the responses. It all gets old after awhile and you just have to know where your heart is and what you'll do for your family and what you can do to help your City, State and Country.

Wished I would have bought the house out in the country I wanted. Might have to start looking again.

Cmiddleton, we have not seen eye to eye on all / many issues, but I think you are making a mistake.

Why pull out of the economy until you get a new government .... if you can still make some money under this government. Remember it will be hard to build things back up quickly under a new gov't if you have to start from scarch.

Why downsize if you can still make money ... remember you should try and maximize you long to medium term profits. This should be your focus whether it involves downsizing or expansion.

Keep some cash in your safe sure, but if all the banks go broke it will be worthless anyways, so you might as well have most in the bank making intestes or in some investment such as real estate or land that can pay for itself.

Pulling 401 and IRA's will have very adverse tax consequences ... talk to a professionl if you don't belive me!

Remember that Obama is following through on Bush's tax cut and proposing others.

Bush's tax cuts will expire and the Messiah and Dems are content, resulting in a tax INCREASE. The cap gains rate will nearly double under Obanomics and the so called "tax cuts" he proposes are nothing other than welfare payments to those who pay no income taxes. I doubt he will be increasing capital gains tax anytime soon! Once the full extent of the GB mismanagement of the economy is determined, tax increases will be very unlikely.
 
It's my understanding they expire this year. Of course cap gains will increase, it's in the Dems DNA, with a gutless Republican Party caving in to them. It's also in their DNA to punish the producers here, in the name of "fairness". The Messiah's trillion dollar "stimulus" package will come about by A) tax increases on the non sluggards B) borrowing from foreign governments who hate us or C) printing cash from thin air resulting in inevitable hyper inflation. All three options suck but none bother the Messiah-elect or the Socialist Party ruling Congress. Not to mention, it will be a trillion dollars down the rat hole and will actually move our economy backwards.
 
my problem is the amount of work that got put on hold, the contract bonds are harder to get and expand on there was a lot of work planned that is not being put out due to banking.
we went from all the work we could handle to searching for jobs to bid in one month.
we want to up size our bonding but they will not let us yet.
we went from 4 mil to 6 mil in bonding this year and were looking at going to 8 but banking is holding things up on both bonding and work.
due to bad economy in other states companies are bidding work here at less than our cost. we could cut our own throat and bid low-ball but it would cost us money to do the job.in turn we can't keep as many workers busy.
yep I'm ticked, big government bail outs have not helped a thing its gotten worse. why put up with a government who is going to take any gain we might make. at the end of last year we had 180,000 dollars our taxes came to 120,000.
i risk everything i have every year and we don't make a big enough gain to feel like I'm safe I'm one bad job away from becoming homeless. i can't low ball bids and higher taxes is not the cure. we can't spend money the government will not let us keep.
i hope obama chokes on his dumb ask ideas the only place wealth is going to be spread is from the citizens to the government
my 401's continue to loose my IRA is drawing no interest if I'm loosing ground on both fronts i just as well have it here. i could pay the penalties and taxes now or wait tell its all gone and for higher taxes. I'm ready to start dealing in cash at home so they will not know what i have.
I'll save my own frig-gin money and not pay taxes fee's and penalties. who needs interest at what they are paying nowadays. my 401's have lost more money than i earned this year.
no matter how hard one tries our banking and taxes will not let you get ahead so i should just be a oboma guy and let the government support me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif NOT
