Does enyone know if any firearms MFG builds a quality SEMI AUTO 22 rimfire magnun ?

I have one of the Rem 597 22mags and have no complaints with it as long as I use decent ammo doesn't like the cheap winchester stuff but shoots the SuperX 40 gr. fine. Wish Ruger would build their 1022 mag again. If you can find a good deal on one of them grab it I did.

I don't have any first hand knowledge but after doing some research I've had some pretty good reveiws and recommendations. I've heard prices range from $300 to $400.

I've heard good things about the Remington too but I might try one of these just for the heck of it.

I have 2 Magnum Research Magnumlites 1 in 17HH2 and the other in 22 Mag...I love them...I would love to have a Volquartsen but couldn't afford one...the Mag Researches do fine for me...My dad has a Remington 597 in 22 mag also and it has been a good gun...never has jammed on us and it has been put thru heck. The only thing my Mag Research 22 mag will jam on so far is Fed Premium 30 grainers and it is always the last shot. Mine will group remington 40 grain HPs under an inch at 50 yards all day long..haven't tried alot of different ammo in it yet...found that it liked the 40 gr Rem's and stuck with them....
