H4350 for 85 gr. tsx, in 243

Waiting on my Barnes reloading manual but had to pick up some 85 gr. tsx today. Only powder I have right now is H-4350, are there any loads in the manual calling for this?
Shooting Win .243, 1-9 twist, 22" barrel.

It's a good choice of powder, go to hogdons website and use their load
data.

My older Barnes manual shows H4350 from 39.0gr to 43.0gr for the XBT and they advised that you could go up to +1.0 - +2.0gr with the TSX working up carefully while looking for pressure signs.

I am using 41gr of IMR4350 pushing 85gr Nosler BT's out of my 243. The fire is lit with LMR primers and this Ruger 77 is now my most accurate rifle. I did have the trigger worked by a gunsmith. A joy to shoot for sure.

I shoot 87gr Vmax from my .243 in front of H4350 with very good results. Should work for the 85TSX too...

Start off at 43.0g and go up from there. I would shoot two shot groups, looking for the two shot groups to shrink as you go up in powder charge. Shoot 3 shot groups, to re-verify your suspicions of what is the most accurate load.

I worked up loads with IMR 4064 & R#19 out of one box of 50 and have bullets left over.

H4350 has LOVED winchester standard primers in my 243's.

Be sure to seat the bullets 0.050 off the lands.
