Trigger adjustment on Marlin 30-30

Hey guys, i was wondering if someone could tell me how to adjust the trigger on a 30-30. The reason i ask is because me and my friend were shooting his 30-30 today and his trigger was heavy and had a lot of creep. Any help appreciated.
