One MIL chart, One MOA for game

I got this mil chart off of another website, then made up the MOA chart. Still
have to add the coyote numbers, don't know what chest height I should use?
Decided on 12".

Let me add an important note: The MOA chart is shooters MOA or IPHY, not
true MOA.

This may be a dumb question, and maybe I'll slap my head and say, duh; but can you give small explanation of how to use it for novice longrangers.

Thanks
Aaron

Both Milradian and Minute of Angle are measurements of an angle which begins at your eye and increases at distance.
The Mil chart is useful with a mil dot reticle. The MOA chart would be useful with a MOA based reticle but you dont find many of those - Nightforce makes one.
http://www.mildot.com/ this is a handy little tool for determining distance with a mildot reticle.

There are many MOA reticles. To me the important thing is to buy a scope
with the clicks and the reticle in the same graduations. Either mil/mil or
moa/moa. I am familiar with moa from surveying so I use it.

And besides, mil is a french system.
LOL.

Kyle the bottom chart is in SMOA and should work with your DOA reticle
for ranging. Go out and try it at your range with the heights marked on a
post at various ranges.
