Twins at the range today.

Took both the MMR AR15s (twins) to the range to reset & re-sight them in for 100 yds w/day scopes. I took the NV scopes off till Oct.
Took a girl & her little girl from work to shoot their 10/22 and the ARs.
The girls put every shot into the 3" circle in my coyote target @ 100 yds.
That's me showing the 10 yr old how to hold the AR and look through the scope. The rear is on a bag so she don't need to hold the forearm.
"I can see it can I shoot now?" she says, bam & hits the red dot just above center....told her to go drag the dead coyote & skin it...hahahha
Can I shoot it more she asks...Yup of course.

That's really cool. Every female I've ever taught how to shoot did great right from the first shot. They don't usually have any of the pre-conceived "I know how to do it" stuff in their heads. They just listen and execute. Like your experience, first shot, bam, bullseye, hit or whatever. How many rounds did she get to shoot and is she now hooked and want a black rifle? Good on ya Brother!
