Sam Houston National Forest, Last Night Hunting, Coyote Pair

Went hunting last night in the Sam Houston National Forest and made two stands. First stand I called in a Bobcat, but gave the cat a pass. Made a second stand where a male came in at 50 yards using rabbit distress, shot him, FoxBang kicked in with a pup distress, and the female popped out about 75 yards. Of course, I forgot to push record on the Thermion 2 PRO XP 50. I was using my suppressed 20" AR 10 in 243 with my handloads and the 87 V-Max (H4350 powder).

Not much of a story, but it's a thick wooded area and you have to be ready as you only have a second to react,

Newer units have shot record, a few sec before and after.
I had one coming through the trees Tues nite, it stopped at the clearing, turned and went into the brush. Had less than a second for the shot, wasn't fast enough. I'm learning.
