Dad was a life long fisherman. These pictures were taken of the last couple of many trips my son & I enjoyed with him.

When his eyesight failed, he could no longer see his spoon before it hit the water, we gladly helped him with the resulting backlashes, but even in his 80's, he put his share of speckled trout and Red Drum in the box.

........and put a few back for seed.

Picture of past fishing trips are always fun to look at. We have them going back to the 1950s. I wish I would have taken more pics during my middle years but fishing was such a part of our lives that unless it was something special it didn't warrant a picture.

Yeah, wish I had taken lots more pictures back then, but it wasn't as easy with the old film cameras as it is today. Speaking of old, special pictures, here is one of my favorites. Have no idea who took the picture, but this is probably the oldest picture I have of dad and my mother. Taken in 1940 or 41 with most likely the largest trout dad ever caught (otherwise the picture would not have been taken way back then). They don't seem to make 'em that big any more.
