Hey Guys, I’m in the preliminary stages of putting together a .17-204. Anyone have info on preferred case forming procedures? Load data? Real word speeds with 30 grain bullets? I have a good supply of Unmunssig 30 grainers and my .17 Remington is a 10 twist and won’t stabilize em.

Any info would be greatly appreciated,
 
I'd guess a FL die or a FL Bushing die would size them down in one pass nicely for you. Regular 204 FL bushing die MAY work too with the right bushing? Somebody will be along with some kinda confirmation, or not, on that.
 
I'd just get a Redding FL 204 Bushing die with the correct bushing and off you go.

No help on load data as I don't mess with any of the 17s. Too windy where I'm at for them little things 🤣
