1st stand I howled a few times with no response, then saw this Red in the pasture. I selected Vole Squeaks and he came on in to about 50 yds. DRT.
Next stand 2 domestic dogs came straight in. My buddy and I both commented on the importance of having a quality thermal scope. This could have been a bad night.
3rd stand I started with Baybee Cottontail and a coyote popped out all the way across the field, about 600 yds, looked our way, then went back into the woods. I howled and it came back for another look but left again. I switched to a breeding sound and it popped out and came in to about 300 yds but hung up. My buddy wanted to try it but I was hoping it would come in closer. Instead it turned and started to leave. I bark stopped it at about 350-375yds. We shot but as far as I know we clean missed. That distance is just too far for my old eyes.
