For as
long as I can remember I have been pursuing game both large and small
throughout the 'Lone Star' state. Most of my early years were spent
hunting whitetail in some of the most primative ways and then progressed
into managing game alongside my dad. I have spent countless hours in the
field and it never dawned on me that my season could increase if I only
took up the sport of calling.
It wasn't
until the Winter of 1998 did I ever take my first crack at the sport of
calling. After several outings, I finally connected with a coyote while
sitting atop a pump jack using a rifle that was handed down from my grand
father (30-30 Win.) and the rest is history.
Since my
introduction to the sport, I have found a place that offers not
only information but friendship as well. I found PM two years after my
start and have been fortunate enough to learn different techniques and
perfect my style of calling with those that frequent this board.
It started with the change of my weaponry, hand calls, spotlights and the
overall way in which I view predator hunting. Needless to say I am hooked
for a good number of years to come. The techniques are simple but it
takes one who is willing to build upon them to become proficient.
So pull up a
chair and stay awhile. You wont regret it
